Grenoside Community Primary School is a warm, welcoming and friendly school that is proud of its place in the community. Situated in the north of Sheffield with beautiful surroundings, we are privileged to have excellent outdoor spaces and an inspiring surrounding environment in which to work. Being a part of Peak Edge Academy Trust, we enjoy working closely with the Trust and its schools to further our development for the benefit of the children and families we support. We are co-educational and have just under 350 on roll with pupils coming from Grenoside and from the wider local area.
The School Leadership is seeking to appoint motivated and dedicated practitioner for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant role. The successful applicant will:
- Be an excellent teaching assistant who has high expectations of self and others and is passionate about enabling all learners to achieve success;
• Work within an agreed framework of supervision to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities, including preparation, delivery and assessment;
• Be well motivated and committed to providing a stimulating, happy and caring learning environment where all learners are valued as unique individuals;
• Have excellent knowledge of the curriculum for the phase in which they work coupled with the ability to secure successful learning for all children with a wide range of learning needs;
• Be committed to raising standards and developing the best education for all pupils;
• Offer a special blend of determination, innovative thinking, creative problem solving, resilience and humour.
